Introduction of Grade for VNGA PCBN&PCD inserts(super hard
insert)
PCBN Cubic carbon nitride
PCBN tipped inserts have excellent hardness and thermal stability,
and bears 1300℃ of cutting temperature. They are
mainly used for machining of hardened steel with HRC50-60 hardness
(for example, carbon tool steel, bearing steel,
die steel and high-speed steel, etc.), gray cast iron, nodular cast
iron, chilled cast iron and Ni-base, Co-base, Cr-base,
Fe-base high-temperature alloys.
PCD Polycrystalline diamond
PCD tipped inserts have high hardness, excellent wear resistance,
low friction coefficient and good heat conductivity.
They are suitable for machining of nonferrous metals (such as Cu,
Al, Mg, Ti and alloy of high-silicon aluminum, etc.)
and non-metal materials (such as fiberglass, ceramics and
reinforced plastics, etc.)

This is a PCBN grade which contains high CBN, with outstanding
hardness (HV3400-3800), thermal stability, heat
conductivity and good wear resistance. It is mainly used for
high-speed machining of cast iron, Fe-base P / M materials
and heat resistant alloy.

Machining category: finishing
This is a PCBN grade which has low CBN and fine grain structure,
with high hardness (HV3200-3500), good thermal
stability and comparatively low heat conductivity. It is mainly
used for highspeedand highly precise continuous or
slightly intermittent machining of hardened steel.

Workpiece material: non-ferrous metal
Machining category: finishing
This is a PCD grade which has medium grain structure, with high
hardness (HV7000), outstanding wear resistance
and heat conductivity. It is mainly used for high-precision,
high-speed and highefficiency machining of non-ferrous
metal (Al, Cu and their alloys) and non-metals (ceramics, wood and
reinforced plastics, etc.). Thisgrade has universal
applications
